Masara town is a small town that is home to the famous pokemon trainer Satoshi who was known as the best in the world at one point, the currrent leader of the Tokiwa City Gym, Shisuke Okido, and the Pokemon Lab belonging to Doctor Okido.
Doctor Okido used to be known as Shigure Okido and at one time was the gym leader, but when his grandfather died he took over his lab and his Son Shisuke took over his job at the gym.

Begining trainers in the Kanto Region can go to the the Pokemon Lab hoping to get their first pokemon. They can choose between the grass type Fushigidane(Bulbasaur), The fire type Hitokage(Charmander), and the water type Zenigame(Squitle).

This is a small town with a pokemon lab just like Kanto's Masara town, however Wakaba town is siginifigity larger then Masara town. The Pokemon lab is run by Doctor Utsugi. New pokemon Trainers can choose from the grass type Chikorita(Stays the same), The fire type Hinoarashi(Cyndaquil), and the water type Waninoko(Totodile).

It is a small town based upon the real life area of Sasebo, Nagasaki in Japan. It is home of the famous corridanator Haruka, her father Senri who is the current gymleader of Toka City, and Doctor Odamaki who runs the local pokemon lab even though he perfers doing doing field work to stay indoors. He even owns a jeep for all terrain travel. Starting trainer's can go to the Pokemon lab to get the first Pokemon. They can choose from the grass type Kimori(Treecko), the fire type Achamo(Torchick), and the water type Mizugorou(Mudkip).

This quaint little town filled with tree's, but not as many as Hoenn's Mishiro town. Futaba is actually larger then Mishiro though.
The local pokemon lab was owned by Doctor Nanakamado until he died of old age. Rumor has it like Okido a relative has taken over the residence and responsibility, but who ever this is they haven't revealed themselves to the public. It's all rumors. Begining trainers can choose between the grass type Naetoru(Turtwig), the fire type Hikozaru(Chimchar), and the water type Potchama (Piplup).

Just like it's name suggests, Chibitaikyo is a small beauttiful village. It lies in the moutains of southern Shinkai and is known for it's unusually hot summers, and the most beauttiful sun sets/sun rises in the world. The local pokemon lab is run by Doctor Daiki(Dai=Large, Great Ki=Radiance) Anzu(Apricot Tree) His assistant is his Daughter Momo(Peach) Anzu. Her mother died when she was really young.
