This is a small town with a pokemon lab just like Kanto's Masara town, however Wakaba town is siginifigity larger then Masara town. The Pokemon lab is run by Doctor Utsugi. New pokemon Trainers can choose from the grass type Chikorita(Stays the same), The fire type Hinoarashi(Cyndaquil), and the water type Waninoko(Totodile).
